Julie GIRY


Julie Giry is a partner and co-founder of Logelbach Associés.

Holder of a Master’s Degree in Private Law and of a Post-Master’s Degree in Criminal Law from the University Paris II Panthéon-Assas, she works primarily in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law and Employment and Benefits, and with public institutional groups overseeing health insurance, unemployment benefits and children’s allowances.

Julie began practising as a legal trainee for SCP Henri Leclerc and then as an Associate in the Private Law department of the Law Firm Castelnau in January 2002.

Combative and committed, Julie was quickly put in charge of the Criminal Law and Social Law practices of the firm from which she gained a strong experience in the procedural defense of agents and officials of public authorities.

In January 2005, Julie founded her law firm and earned the trust of many decision-makers, both public or private, through her attentiveness, availability and efficiency. She has developed a significant network of private companies, semi-public companies and public institutions to whom she provides legal assistance either in counsel or in litigation proceedings.

Julie has also developed special relationships with many individual clients who entrust her with the management of the toughest problems they may face throughout their lives (separation, divorce, employee/employer disputes).

In social matters, Julie advises her clients on:

  • Management of human resources, particularly in the drafting of employment contracts,
  • Employee/employer relations
  • Collective bargaining, union representation and collective representation, employee compensation and incentives
  • Individual dismissals, economic layoffs, collective redundancies and severance of top executives
  • Labor Law, Prud’homal litigations (elected industrial tribunal), transactions.

In criminal matters, Julie specialises in:

  • The defense of legal representatives for liabilities pertaining to their status.
  • The defense of legal persons either as plaintiffs (for instance when their interests must be protected from frauds, embezzlements, misuse of company assets, etc.) or as defendants, when their liability is challenged.
  • The defense of employees or agents.

Finally, Julie regularly deals with all the aspects attached to the rights of persons and Family Law (divorce, separation, adoption, etc.).
